As an artist and creative soul, I am very passionate about THE BEAUTY OF LIGHT - presented in all shapes and forms.
My artworks are simply called L I C H T B I L D E R because of the 'light catching' process that is involved. In the early years, PHOTOGRAPHY was defined as a 'DRAWING WITH LIGHT' process.
The FOCUS in my work is not the object I photograph, but THE LIGHT itself. In doing so, I CAN CAPTURE THE LIGHT BEYOND THE MOMENT and not just a snapshot of it.
With the help of classic exposure techniques and some new techniques - I developed between 2017-2019, my works look like paintings. I create unique images of beauty, mystery and emotion.
I like to say that MY CAMERA BECAME MY PAINTBRUSH!
In addition to the aesthetic photographic art the L I C H T B I L D E R occupy a central space in my work.
The inspiration for creating new L I C H T B I L D E R collections, arise when recognizing the right light staging.
I strive to capture the unexpected beauty, creating pieces that evoke a sense of wonder and appreciation for the world around us. With their vibrant colors and bold compositions, these photographs capture the BEAUTY of LIGHT and provide a WINDOW into the imagination.
In my works, I create unique perspectives and different styles and moods from light-bright to mystical-dark.
